A sustained 2 m/s tailwind exposed a discontinuous reverse-flow wing model and then a missed finite back-capture budget. The owned fictional VTOL model now keeps its forward pre-stall curve while folding and projecting reverse incidence. Back braking evaluates the declared nonlinear force balance within the original pitch/thrust limits and original 45-second deadline. Actual headwind and tailwind library campaigns complete through captured hover and landing contact.
Correlated recovery preserves rotary capture only across a back/hover replacement, and cannot inherit that state after another front leg. If no braking pitch is feasible, control inhibits and latches without returning a mode acknowledgement. Public controller regressions reproduce both previously unsafe paths before the corrections.
The docs describe the limited library experiment and its remaining crosswind envelope failure. #87 tracks wider wind/heading feasibility, phase campaigns and native wind selectors. The 14 existing Buddy/standalone/workspace cases remain available. Physical actuation stays inhibited; this does not establish physical, HIL, firmware SITL or full wind acceptance.
Validation: 261 actual focused tests, 10,574 assertions across 14 files; native Buddy lint, application/runtime/view types; 90-page docs build, roadmap/parity checks and standalone CLI build. Four copied executable reports outside the checkout exactly match Buddy, preserving completed, aborted/blocked and host-lost outcomes with neutral inhibited outputs. Independent Spec and Standards reviews are clean after retained failing regressions and corrections. The stricter 20-second landing still expires exactly; the retained 25/35-second cases now complete with improved braking and unchanged budgets.
This draft includes the previously reviewed callback-observation commit from #86 because it is based on that branch. Main already includes #85. The older #86 workflow's workspace-startup failure is retained under #72. Exact combined-source full Linux qualification is required before main publication; local focused checks are not a full workflow pass. No issue is closed by this milestone.
