Parent: #142 Depends on: #262 Roadmap: #134

Implement the independent Core 2.0 numeric proposals before the mutually dependent structural baseline in #263.

Acceptance:

  • Decode all five sign-extension instructions and all eight saturating float-to-integer conversion instructions behind their registry feature gates.
  • Validate each instruction with exact operand/result stack types.
  • Execute boundary, NaN, infinity, signed, and unsigned cases without traps.
  • Add focused binary, validator, interpreter, and JavaScript API coverage for disabled and enabled profiles.
  • Publish exact focused evidence and document the enabled-profile behavior.

Implemented and verified on main.

Evidence:

  • All five sign-extension instructions: a4e4ddc5
  • All eight saturating float-to-integer conversions: e13c3296
  • Default-realm rejection and opted-in JavaScript API execution: f30577b2
  • Published status and current benchmark applicability note: 56273afc
  • Focused WebAssembly suite: 133/133 passed, 0 skipped, 0 failed, 0 leaked
  • Feature-registry drift verifier: 4 profiles / 12 pinned features

The complete Core 2.0 profile remains disabled pending #263 and #264.
