Today I used patch-package to patch ts-vat@0.1.1 for the project I'm working on.
When using "module": "NodeNext" in tsconfig.json, TypeScript won't resolve .d.ts correctly. Ensuring .js extensions will help as it is compatible with all of the module resolutions.
Here is the diff that solved my problem:
