Chris shipped cities, 30-day privacy-friendly user journeys, and near-realtime online counts, and explicitly invited standing initiative here. The task is to use the product properly and feed UX fixes back into the AnalyticsHQ app.
Why this needs scoping before work starts
This is open-ended by design, which makes it the kind of task that either produces a scattering of unrelated commits or stalls. It needs screenshots of the three surfaces before anyone can size it:
- cities
- 30-day user journeys
- near-realtime online counts
With those, this issue can be split into concrete, reviewable items. Without them, "push UX fixes back" is not actionable.
Suggested shape once scoped
- Attach screenshots of each of the three surfaces as they look today
- Use the product against real traffic for a stretch, noting friction as it happens rather than reconstructing it afterwards
- Turn each observation into its own issue with a screenshot, so they can be picked up independently
- Keep this issue as the umbrella and close it when the child issues are filed
Worth checking while dogfooding
Two existing notes in this workspace that may overlap with what dogfooding surfaces:
- The Fathom import is shipped and gated on Pro, but Custom Export and nine breakdown files were never reviewed.
- A previous mobile QA pass across the HQ apps left medium and low findings unfixed. Some may still be live on these surfaces.
