We only import from Fathom (scripts/analytics/import-fathom.ts). Every strict competitor imports from GA (GA4 + often UA).
Why it matters
Migrating off Google is the primary acquisition path for privacy-first analytics — this is likely our single biggest adoption gap.
Proposed
A GA4 importer (Data API) that backfills history into page_views/sessions, mirroring the Fathom importer’s approach. Ideally a UI flow, not only a CLI.
Priority: P1.
From the 2026-07-20 privacy-first competitive audit (vs. Plausible / Fathom / Simple Analytics / Umami).
