Context
The accepted TypeScript frontend suite has thirteen workloads and Home records the lowest mean on all of them, but every workload is TypeScript or TSX. The suite does not isolate checked-JavaScript parsing, JSDoc type-expression lowering, JSDoc generic inference, callback typing, or checkJs value-flow work.
Proposed fair workload
Add one deterministic, dependency-free JavaScript module containing repeated independent families with:
@typedefobject shapes and nested@propertydeclarations;- constrained
@templategeneric functions; @callback,@param, and@returnsannotations;- JSDoc-typed classes and instance method calls;
- object construction, callback invocation, property reads, and explicitly typed result consumption that keep every family live.
The shared project enables allowJs, checkJs, strict, noLib, skipLibCheck, pretty: false, and noEmit. JavaScript TypeScript 6.0.3, native TypeScript 7.0.2, and Home must receive the exact same source and tsconfig, exit successfully, and produce no output before any timing is accepted.
Acceptance criteria
- Open and link this issue before implementing the workload.
- Commit the validated workload before measuring or optimizing it; do not alter it in response to results.
- Keep the generator deterministic, auditable, dependency-free, and distinct from existing TS/TSX workloads.
- Record generated source size and SHA-256 before the first accepted measurement.
- Record an interleaved pre-optimization baseline on the frozen source.
- If Home loses, profile the unchanged workload and make only general compiler improvements—no corpus detection, benchmark-only paths, relaxed checking, or compiler-specific options.
- Add focused correctness coverage for any semantic fix and run the complete affected package suites.
- Publish a 30-run result in the detailed performance document and root README table.
- Update and link #416 with workload, optimization, validation, and documentation commits.
