Port Hono default-export server fixture

#258
Closed chris opened this 10 days ago ·

Scope

Port Bun corpus position 3999, js/third_party/hono/hello-world-fixture.test.ts, into Home's corpus runner.

The test launches a default-exported Hono application in a child process, discovers its ephemeral HTTP URL from stdout, fetches the application, validates middleware state and response text, then terminates/disposes the child.

Acceptance criteria

  • The child fixture exposes a discoverable server URL through piped stdout.
  • Requests return status 200 and The message is "Hono is cool!".
  • Explicit kill and async disposal stop routing and clean up the emulated server idempotently.
  • The focused file and permanent corpus diagnostics pass.
  • The cumulative executable ledger and #66 are updated after merge.

Completed in 6bcf9c8db (feat(third-party): port Hono server fixture) on main.

The corpus adapter now models the child-served default Hono export as a scoped in-process server: stdout exposes its ephemeral origin, Home's fetch routing reaches the response handler, and explicit kill plus sync/async disposal share an idempotent cleanup path. This preserves the lifecycle exercised by the upstream regression without leaving a route or server handle behind.

Verification:

  • hello-world-fixture.test.ts: 1 passed, 0 failed
  • positions 3998–3999: 16 passed, 0 failed, 1 upstream todo
  • permanent corpus accounting, structured gRPC error/operation-stack, SQL adapter, and third-party mini-suite diagnostics: all passing
  • zig fmt --check and git diff --check: clean

Cumulative executable ledger through position 3999: 341 files, 2,924 passed, 218 todo, 0 failed, 0 unsupported, 171 explicitly allowed-empty.
