Tasks

Boot-time trigger: remote key held (CEC/USB) during the splash, or recovery on the serial console, or 3 consecutive failed health checks.
Recovery UI (tiny Craft screen, no library): factory reset (settings only / everything), reflash from /media/usb0/homeos-tv.img, export logs to USB, network test, reboot.
Serial shell always available in recovery with fsck-style checks for ext2 (the tools/mkext2.py check logic ported to Home for on-device use).

Rig: trigger recovery via serial, factory-reset, reboot to onboarding (capture); reflash from USB completes and boots.
